Arsenal: 5 Reasons For Optimism

By DJ /

The bandwagon is well and truly rolling over at the Emirates after 10 successive wins since Arsenal's opening day defeat against Aston Vila. (I€™m counting West Brom in the Capital Cup as they did progress!) Although, it is far too early to serve an eviction notice to the spiders in the trophy cabinet, I€™m going to list five reasons why there is genuine cause for optimism. The 2-0 victory over Napoli was noticeable for the positive atmosphere amongst the crowd, sadly lacking in recent seasons and the superb attacking football with which Arsenal destroyed a very good Napoli side. It may seem churlish but I will not include Arsene Wenger in my list although he is obviously the architect for this run of form as he has also overseen the last eight seasons of trophy famine. However all will be forgiven if his side can continue this fine form until May.
