Anthony Devlin/PA Archive/Press Association ImagesArsenal are set to do battle with London rivals Tottenham and Italian side Napoli in the £20 million race for Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the Express. Schneiderlin is currently on World Cup duty with France but has been linked with a summer switch from the Saints following a stand-out season for the south coast club last term. New Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is facing a battle to hold on to his star players having already lost Luke Shaw to Manchester United and Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana to Liverpool. The Dutchman is determined not to lose any more of his players until he has bought in replacements and their valuations are met. To rub salt in the wounds, former Saints chief Mauricio Pochettino is also lining up a move for Schneiderlin with new club Tottenham, while reports in Italy claim Napoli are interested too. Ex-Liverpool and Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez is keen to add to his ranks and build on last season's Copa Italia success, and has reportedly already made an offer of £12 million for the midfielder. However, Southampton are holding firm and want £20 million - a fee Gunners chief Arsene Wenger is prepared to pay as he looks to beat Napoli to the punch for the Frenchman.
