Its been reported that Cazorla is looking to leave Malaga this summer after arguments with the club over unpaid wages. It was only last Summer that the Euro 2012 winner signed with the La Liga outfit in an £18 million deal from Villareal (where were relegated shortly after his departure) and is one of the several veteran players looking to leave Malaga this summer. Malaga supposedly still owe Villareal £3 million in transfer fees from their initial signing of Cazorla and can add a hefty tax bill to their list of unpaid debts, in spite of the fact that the La Liga side are backed by a wealthy middle-eastern consortium. Tottenham were also reportedly considering the Spanish international, who managed to score four direct free kicks just last season, but Arsenal look to have beaten their derby rivals to the 27-year-old. Cazorla boasts 45 caps for Spain and is able to play across midfield or as a withdrawn forward making him valuable for his versatility. Although he plays out wide for Malaga, he has been used as a midfield replacement for Xavi during Spain matches and its believed that Arsene Wenger will look to utilize Cazorla in a central position.
