Mirror Manchester United winger Nani is Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's top transfer target in January, as the Frenchman looks to bolster his side in the New Year with further signings. Wenger is hoping that having sold Robin van Persie to United last summer, Sir Alex Ferguson will return the favour and allow Portuguese Nani to move to the Emirates. Nani is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and hasn't played for the Red Devil's since November 3rd, when they beat Arsenal 2-1 at Old Trafford. And with Theo Walcott still undecided on his Arsenal future, the signing of Nani could be a direct replacement for the Englishman. According to the Mirror, Wenger has been told he has money to spend and could afford Nani's transfer fee of around £12m as well as Nani's revised wage demands, with Arsenal able to go to £90,000-a-week. However, Wenger recently told the Mirror that he now see's Walcott as a forward, and that would mean Arsenal would be looking to fill two wide areas in January. According to the Mirror, Wenger remains interested in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, though Nani would appear to be the more experienced option. The same report identifies Southampton defender Luke Shaw as a possible transfer target, and that would likely mean the end for Brazilian Andre Santos, who hasn't started a game since early November. They also add Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina to the list of targets, with the Mirror stating that Liverpool could be willing to sell as Brendan Rodgers is understood to be targeting Birmingham's Jack Butland, which might be worrying news for current number 1 Wojciech Szczesny... What do you think Arsenal fans - should Arsenal bring in Nani, Zaha, Shaw and Reina? Would that represent a good January window? Share your thoughts below.
