Arsene Wenger on Saturday when The Gunners finally put in a performance that was reminiscent of what we are so used to seeing from them but had forgotten in recent months. They will go into tonight's Champions League Group F game against Marseille at the Emirates beaming with confidence and will be fancying themselves to not only win the match but also their group. A victory tonight will take them at least four points ahead at the top of the group and they will certainly be hoping not to leave it as late as the reverse fixture in France when Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal in injury time!

Team News

Thomas Vermaelen and Carl Jenkinson are both fit to return against Marseille tonight and will be hoping to appear. Jenkinson has been missing since the last time The Gunners played Marseille, whereas Vermaelen has been out with an Achilles injury. Both defenders will be welcomed returnees as the Arsenal defence has been shocking this season and they won't want to rely on their strikers scoring five goals against the likes of Chelsea every weekend! Striker Marouane Chamakh however will sit out with a knee problem, Kieran Gibbs remains sidelined with a stomach injury, and ankle problems keep trio of Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby and Bacary Sagna out.
