Clearly, every great team performance requires great leadership and guidance. That obviously comes from Andy Flower, the coaches and, most importantly, Alastair Cook. Cook has struggled with the bat in recent times with England, but his 65 in the second innings certainly was a cause for optimism. However, whatever you say about his battling, his captaincy has been impeccable even if the Australians are keen to suggest otherwise. I often think the best judge of a team is how they react to adversity as well as bad results. It's clear that this is the situation that England find themselves in, but under Cook, I expect to see them come out fighting.
