A La Liga season that was all but over a month and a bit ago, is tonight going to be decided, funny how things work out isn't it? The title decided grudge match between Spain's onl-, sorry, biggest two teams kicks off tonight on Sky Sports, where there will be plenty of tika taka football, boisterously masculine closing down, Marcelo getting sent off and Mourinho shaking his head in disbelief over something and then getting a 2 match ban after the only press conference he does each season. Boy I love El Clasico. Barcelona take the best form into this fixture, although both teams lost their midweek fixtures and Madrid have the advantage of exceptional squad depth, an extra days rest before this match, and an extras day rest before their upset defeat to Bayern Munich in midweek. Despite this however, Barcelona (Messi and his rag tag band of other tika taka's) always bring their A game to Clasico and Madrid always manage to do their disappearing act. However the last time these two met, Real Madrid did push Barcelona harder than they have in recent years, and can have this confidence to draw upon tonight. Team News Real Madrid have a full squad to choose from, other than long term absentees Carvalho and Diarra. Similarly, Barcelona are only missing Eric Abidal and David Villa.Gerard Piqué is expected to return. Prediction: Barcelona 3 - 3 Real Madrid Both teams have a wealth of attacking talent, but defences that make Poland look like an imposing military force. Expect goals, shots, and several red cards.
