Patrice Evra has been one of United's most consistent performers this season, playing in all but one of their opening 12 games in the Premier League and completing all of them. He even netted his first goal of the season against Cardiff on Sunday with a well-placed header and, though he could do nothing to prevent the Welsh side's late equaliser, has still done enough to warrant his place in the side. United went in for the likes of Fabio Coentrao and Leighton Baines of Real Madrid and Everton, respectively, over the summer and may try again to sign a new left-back in the New Year. However, David Moyes should take heart from Evra's recent performances, as he has answered questions about his future at the club out on the pitch. He will play again on Wednesday, and is in line to make his 61st European appearance for the club.
