After 57 days and ten games, former Manchester United defender Henning Berg became the latest managerial casualty at Ewood Park after winning just once and losing six times during his brief spell in charge before being sacked. Two other managers have faced the same undignified fate since 2010 with current West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce getting the chop before the, shall we say, one of the less popular managerial appointments in recent memories as Steve Kean took charge soon after. He lost 37 of his 74 games in charge and Rovers were relegated under his tenure, though he did not resign until 4 months later. Next to step up to the mark was Henning Berg, who had previously won the Premier League with Blackburn as a player in their most famous season back in 1995 before joining Manchester United. It was something of a strange decision considering Berg's only managerial experience prior was at two small Norwegian clubs and his lack of pedigree and nous ultimately cost him his job at Ewood as they lay 17th in the Championshio doldrums. Who's will Blackburn Rovers appoint as their next manager? A few old faces have been tipped for the job, odds have been slashed on certain names. Click "Next" to find out.
