It is rare in recent times that a transfer window has gone by without Celtic being linked with a move for 28 year old Scottish international Steven Fletcher and this summer's window has been no exception. However on this occasion it seems like Fletchers time with the Sunderland might well be up, with both Jermaine Defoe and Danny Graham seemingly ahead of him in the club's pecking order. A price-tag of £4 million was mentioned when Fletcher was linked with a move to Swansea recently and whilst that certainly seems affordable given Hartsons £6 million criteria, Celtic assistant manager John Collins has insisted in the past that Celtic would not be able to afford the Scottish strikers wages. However given his capability of playing the lone striker role he may be an ideal signing for Celtic if they could talk him down to a lower wage. Likelihood Rating: 3/10
