Chelsea Transfer News: Hulk Tops Mourinho's Wish List?

Daily Star. The Real Madrid boss will resign from his post at the Bernabeu at the end of the season and replace interim Rafael Benitez at Stamford Bridge, following talks between his agent Jorge Mendes and Blues owner Roman Abramovich. Mourinho has verbally agreed his Chelsea return, according to the same report, and will be on a salary understood to match the £12 million a year he is paid in Spain. Upon his return, he will immediately set about stamping his mark on the club, and will order a shakeup that will see Michael Emenalo, the technical director of football at the club, axed. It also looks as though £50 million flop Fernando Torres will be on his way, with Hulk topping a list of players, still thought to include Falcao, that Mourinho wants to bring in this summer. He views Hulk as the sort of powerful hitman Didier Drogba was in his pomp, and though the Brazilian only joined Zenit St Petersburg for £42 million in September, Abramovich is hopeful his close connections with the club's owners will see a deal go through. Mourinho's dream scenario would be to resign from his Real Madrid post after winning the Champions League at Wembley in May. His Spanish champions reached the semi-finals last night thanks to a dramatic 5-3 aggregate win over Galatasaray.
