Chelsea Transfer News: Jose Mourinho Wants Wesley Sneijder At Stamford Bridge?

Galatasaray midfielder, Wesley Sneijder, is being linked with a move to Chelsea and a reunion with former manager Jose Mourinho, according to a report in The Sun. The Dutchman only signed for the Turkish side from Inter Milan for a fee of £7 million in January on a three-and-a-half year deal, but a summer offer from Chelsea could tempt him to push through a deal that would end the agreement early. 28-year-old Sneijder has struggled in his first few months with the Turkish champions, who are reportedly willing to listen to €˜reasonable€™ offers for the player. Sneijder has made 23 appearances since his move to Turkey, scoring just four goals in all competitions. The former Milan star now sees Stamford Bridge as a potential escape route from the Turkish league. The attacking-midfielder moved to Real Madrid in 2007 for a fee of around £18 million but after just two seasons at the Bernabeu, he moved to Italian side Inter Milan and joined up with Jose Mourinho. In his first season at Milan, Jose used the Dutchman in 43 games and made the star a massive part of how the treble winning side played. The former Madrid and Milan player has had a strong international career, being part of the Netherlands team that made it to the final of the 2010 World Cup. After keeping close contact with the player, Mourinho is now aiming to bring Sneijder to Stamford Bridge along with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Eliaquim Mangala.
