Hatem Ben Arfa
After recovering from an injury, Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa ended last season on top form, which has attracted attention from several clubs including big spenders Chelsea. Roman Abramovich has already secured a deal to bring Eden Hazard to Stamford Bridge and with the transfer of FC Portos Hulk still pending, the Chelsea owner looks set to continue spending in his quest to once again win the Champions League and compete for the Premier League title next season. Alan Pardew will do everything to keep the midfielder at Newcastle United although an £18 million bid may be enough to secure the signing. If Chelsea did pay £18 million Newcastle would make around £14 million profit on Ben Arfa and the money could secure contracts for Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse and further strengthen other areas of the squad.
