Last night, Manchester United and Chelsea drew 0-0 in a game that promised to be tantalizing but was anything but. And it's little surprise we didn't see a goal-fest considering Blues boss Jose Mourinho started the game without a recognised striker. Promising starlet Romelu Lukaku was expected to lead the line last night, a reward for his impressive loan-stint at West Brom last season that saw the Belgian net 17 Premier League goals in 35 appearances. Instead, forward Andre Schurrle started with Oscar, Hazard, Lampard and De Bruyne in support. It was an odd decision by Mourinho and not one that does the claim purporting the "Special One" plays negative tactics too many favours. Juan Mata was again left on the bench, overlooked for a third game in a row, but it's not just the attacking midfielder that Mourinho apparently doesn't have any faith in, it's his strike force, too. Last season, Demba Ba and Fernando Torres were ineffectual, scoring just three Premier League goals between them in 2013 so far, while the jury is still out on Shurrle. It's perhaps no surprise at all then that Mourinho is trying to sign Wayne Rooney to add some spice to his attack.
