When Tony Pulis took charge at Selhurst Park, the team he got was in real trouble and looked destined for the drop, but things have changed dramatically since then under his guidance and his side have a huge chance of staying in the division. In fact, they can achieve what they're aiming to do comfortably. Their home form is superb, their style of football works well and their newest players have made an instant impression. So why can't they avoid the drop? In fact, the only potential black mark is the next two games against Everton and Manchester United, which are likely to be extremely challenging. But Pulis has put the wind back into Palace's sails, and confidence could be the side's biggest asset against the deflated Red Devils, and Everton have proved themselves frustrating when faced with more physical sides. Right now, even despite those games, Palace have all the odds stacked in their favour. If they continue in this fashion it won't be a great escape and it won't even come down to the final stages: they'll secure their future way before the final day of the season, and Tony Pulis will deserve nothing less.
