Crystal Palace are expected to sign Sevilla youngster Jose Campana this week, according to the Mail Online The newly-promoted Premier League side hope to secure the deal when the Spain Under-20 captain flies in to London to complete a medical today. Campana, 20, is one of Spain's biggest prospects and his immediate future will be at Selhurst Park. The midfielder, who is renown for his neat touches and one-touch passing abilities, will fly to London today after Palace agreed a fee with Sevilla for around £2 million, plus a sell-on fee for the player. Campana's fledgling career has been affected by niggling injuries so far, but the starlet appears to be over them now and played a full part in the Under-20 World Cup recently. He was a member of the Under-20 Spanish team that competed at the tournament in Turkey and reached the quarter-final stage, before being eliminated by Uruguay after extra-time. Palace have already held talks with the young international and have convinced him that his future lies in South London. Meanwhile, manager Ian Holloway is understood to be preparing a £1.75 million bid for West Brom's Peter Odemwingie, who is close to ending his nightmare spell at the Hawthorns after trying to quit the club in January.
