5. Marouane Chamakh vs Phil Jagielka

Moroccan Marouane Chamakh has not done a lot to impress this season, scoring a solitary goal this season on his first Palace start v Stoke, yet has managed to establish himself as a regular starter for the Premier League strugglers, mainly thanks an injury to last season's top scorer Glen Murray and the lack of another proven top-level goalscorer. He can make a nuisance of himself though, throughout the season we have seen him niggling away at centre-halves, making life uncomfortable and winning his team free-kicks - something he particularly did well against Arsenal. Phil Jagielka on the other hand has consistently impressed over the past few seasons - establishing himself as a regular England starter whilst also helping Everton consistently finish in the top half of the table. At 31-years-old Jagielka has reached the peak of his game and will be looking to impress before the World Cup at the end of the year - potentially the last chance for Jagielka to partake in such an event. I would expect Jagielka to win this battle however, you can be sure that Chamakh will be niggling away at Jagielka making life uncomfortable for the England international.
