Davide Santon Takes Parting Shot At Newcastle
The Italian has returned to Inter Milan - calling them a "club with a future".
"On a personal level, I would say that this second spell at the club has been good so far, even though I haven't been playing as much recently as I did when I joined in January. I'm glad I came back though as this is a club with a future. There are plans here and now we need to finish the year on a positive note in front of our fans."Inter sit eighth in Serie A with a solitary game remaining, and Santon believes his future lies with former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini in Milan. Santon started his career at Inter, making 53 appearances (as well as 11 on loan at Cesena), before he arrived on Tyneside for £5.3 million back in August 2011. During three-and-a-half years at Newcastle, Santon made 94 appearances - scoring once. For all the latest NUFC News, Views and Transfers make sure to follow WhatCultureNUFC on Twitter and Facebook.
