England will hope to continue with the form that saw them open their World Cup Qualifying campaign with a win against Moldova on Friday. Roy Hodgson's side won convincingly against the far lower-ranked Moldova by 5 goals to nil, with a Frank Lampard brace followed by goals from Defoe, Milner and Baines sealing an emphatic victory. There will be at least one change to the side that steps out at Wembley tonight though, as John Terry is unavailable due to an ankle injury. Ashley Cole is also still injured with a similar complaint, so Leighton Baines is likely to deputise for the experienced Chelsea left back once again. Both Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge have been suffering with illnesses, although Hodgson hopes Sturridge will be able to play, whereas Walcott has returned to Arsenal. The biggest surprise in the squad is the call-up of young man Raheem Sterling, the Liverpool winger who has impressed greatly in Brendan Rodger's first few games on Merseyside. At 17 years and 225 days old, Sterling will be the third youngest footballer to play for England, behind Wayne Rooney and the aforementioned Walcott. England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, who was withdrawn at half time in Moldova with the game already won, has welcomed the call-up of his team-mate. "I think he deserves this call-up. The impact he's made has been sensational," said Gerrard. "He's been one of our shining lights. The important thing is he keeps his feet on the ground. I think it won't be long before he's in the set-up for real." Meanwhile midfielders Jake Livermore, 22, of Tottenham, and Southampton's Adam Lallana, 24, have been called up. Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is likely to replace club and country colleague John Terry in defence alongside Joleon Lescott, with Phil Jagielka also in the mix. Ukraine, who have only once qualified for a World Cup, in 2006, have not yet started their qualifying campaign, and have found it difficult to win on the road under manager Oleg Blokhin.
