Memories of Celtics 1967 European Cup final win will come flooding back when Ronny Deilas side host Inter Milan in the first leg of their last 32 Europa League tie. Celtic became the first British club to lift the European Cup after a 2-1 win over the Italian giants and the Parkhead faithful will be hoping for something similar tonight. Celtic's form has been iffy to say the least in this season's Europa League as they finished second in group D, a full eight points behind winners Red Bull Salzburg. They face an Inter side that coasted through and topped a group that included Dnipro, Qaraba and Saint-tienne. Roberto Mancini has failed to turn around the club's domestic form as the blue and blacks currently sit 10th in the Serie A table, 10 points off the Champions League spots. The two sides have met on two previous occasions back in 1972 with both matches ending in a 0-0 draw as Inter progressed to the European Cup final on penalties. The odds look stacked up against The Bhoys, who have lost their last four games against Italian opposition without scoring a goal. Celtic's midfielder Kris Commons is a major doubt for the game having missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury, he is back in training however so has every chance of playing. Right-back Mikael Lustig (ankle) and midfielder Charlie Mulgrew (knee) remain out. Jonathan Moreira and Yuto Nagatomo will be missing for the Italians while Lukas Podolski will not be available after being omitted from Inters Europa League squad in favour of fellow January signing Xherdan Shaqiri.
