2. Andre Ayew Continues To Shine In The Big Games

It was a match-winning performance from Swansea€™s Ghana international, a man with a reputation for rising to the occasion, having previously found the net against Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. There€™s no doubt that this was a huge win for the Swans in their relegation scrap, a victory that moved them up to 15th place in the table and put a four-point cushion between them and Newcastle United in 18th. Man-of-the-match Ayew€™s strike in the 35th minute was his eighth in 21 matches this season, and his progress hasn€™t gone unnoticed. Sunderland have been linked with a £14-million move for the attacker, but the Swans appear determined to hold onto their top goalscorer. It€™s easy to see why they want to keep hold of him, with Ayew proving something of a talisman for the Swans this term, finding the net in four of their six league wins.
