Signed from Austrian outfit Sturm Graz in pre-season, Australia youth international Eddy Bosnar was recruited as cover for Evertons defensive regulars, but failed to make a single appearance in blue. The centre-back was released at the end of the campaign due to injury. Although he never made it in the Premier League, Bosnar has turned out for dozens of clubs around the world since his brief Goodison stint and still plays semi-professionally, having recently joined Sydney United 58 FC in his native Australia.
