Leicester snapped up Christian Fuchs on a free transfer from Schalke this summer in what looks like a brilliant bit of business. The German defender has featured a lot during the Foxes' pre-season and is being used by new boss Claudio Ranieri as part of a back three as he looks to stick with a 3-4-1-2 formation. The 29-year-old has a wealth of Champions League experience and is a strong, physical defender who was used mostly as a left-back in Germany. He grabbed two goals and made four assists last season and has been known to take corners.
