Fantasy Premier League 2018-19: 10 Forwards To Sign
10. Bobby Reid (Cardiff)
If you're looking for a cheap promoted forward to save a little cash in your lineup and offer plenty of potential for high points returns, Bobby Reid could be your man. The Cardiff City striker had endured a pretty poor career up until last season when he suddenly burst into form with Bristol City in the Championship, scoring 19 goals in 46 games and earning a £10 million move to Cardiff City.
The Welsh side weren't the most prolific outfit in the Championship last season, relying on multiple goalscorers like Callum Paterson, Joe Ralls, Kenneth Sohore, and Junior Hoilett rather than any one individual. Paterson was their top scorer in the league with 10 strikes, so Reid has been brought in to provide a significant goal threat for the side and will get plenty of chances to impress.
It remains to be seen how well he will take to the top flight, but he played well and scored a penalty when Bristol met Man City in the League Cup last season and is a very hard-working forward, which is just the sort of player Cardiff will need to survive in the Premier League.
