Fantasy Premier League Tips: 10 Best Pound For Points Strikers

10. Sam Vokes (Burnley) - £6m

He might not be the most exciting forward in the Premier League, but Sam Vokes was a valuable points-getter for Burnley last season. The Welsh forward scored 10 goals in 21 starts for the Clarets (with a further 16 appearances from the bench), and only goalkeeper Tom Heaton (149) bettered his Fantasy points total of 121 among Burnley players.

His services will set you back just £6m, making him one of the cheapest strikers in the league despite his healthy points total. Vokes was the 12th highest scoring forward in last season's game, and while probably not somebody you'll want to build your team around, he represents excellent value for money as a second or third option.

Teammate Andre Gray is the club's primary outlet, but he earned significantly fewer points last season (108) and comes at a higher cost this time around (£6.5m). Danny Ings has also been linked with a return to the club after two failed seasons at Liverpool, which could limit Vokes' first team opportunities. Regardless, the target man is a great option to fill out your squad as things currently stand.
