Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer has warned Mario Gotze that "giving up is the worst thing to do" and thinks the World Cup winner will begin to demonstrate the form that earned him the 37 million switch from Dortmund two years ago. Beckenbauer told Kicker: "I'd stay with Bayern if I were him. "That's where he has the best conditions available and the best education. "Mario has to prevail, giving up is the worst thing he can do. "This is the sort of situation a footballer always encounters, at some point he has to take it on."With Arturo Vidal on the verge of a 40m move to the Allianz Arena it could mean that Gotze goes in the other direction and joins the Scudetto winners. Pep Guardiola stated that Gotze who's contract runs out in 2017 would not be leaving Bayern this summer.
