Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he will consider making a move for Lille star Eden Hazard in the summer. The 21 year-old Belgium international playmaker who is being courted by all the top clubs in Europe is valued by the French side at a whopping £30 million. Lille are well aware of the starlet they have on their books and with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United and more overseas giants monitoring the situation closely, they believe they can command a staggering fee for the player who has scored 11 goals this campaign from his attacking midfield/winger position. Redknapp, who is looking more and more likely to stat at the North London club beyond this summer, turning down England's overtures to manage the national side, is confident that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will allow him to smash Tottenham's transfer record to bring the player to the Premier League. "Hazard is a talented player with great ability. He can do special things. He is on our list," said Redknapp. "I watched him last year about three times and I have watched him a couple of times this year. "I wouldn't want to be saying he is the best player in the world because Man City or Chelsea might then decide they have to have him. "United and one or two others are in for him but I think Daniel is ready to compete with them. If you want to be a top four team you have got to do that. You have got to push on. The chairman is ambitious, we all are." Levy's ambitions to help Redknapp on his mission to make Tottenham a real challenger for the Premier League title next season may depend on Champions League qualification this season and the extra funds that come with that. Spurs are currently only one point ahead of Arsenal in third and four points ahead of Chelsea as the three clubs battle for third and fourth place.
