José Mourinho Spotted Scouting West Ham Star
Marko Arnautović is on Mou's Man Utd radar.
Man Utd boss José Mourinho was spotted by fans taking in Austria's 1-0 friendly win over Russia on Wednesday night in Innsbruck's Tivoli Stadion Tirol.
Now, The Daily Post are reporting that Mourinho was there to scout West Ham's forward Marko Arnautović, and a transfer bid for the bustling striker's services could well be imminent. If that's the case, then Man Utd may have to stump up as much as £50 million for the Austrian hitman.
It's interesting to note that Mourinho was also in attendance for Austria’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Vienna last October; in that game, Arnautović started on the wing and scored in a 3-2 triumph during his side's failed bid to reach the World Cup finals.
Utd have already enquired about landing the 29-year old this summer. He only signed for West Ham from Stoke last year in a deal totalling £25 million. That means West Ham could be about to make twice what they paid for the player.
Arnautović briefly played under Mourinho as a youngster at Inter Milan during the 2009-2010 season, but he has matured immensely since moving to England in 2013.
