Positionally, Fredy Guarin is very similar to Arturo Vidal. The Columbian isn't afraid to drive forward and link up with the attackers and enjoys creating chances. He has fantastic passing ability, work-rate and dribbling skills and (like Vidal) is partial to a 30-yard strike. The 29-year-old scored 7 goals and made 8 assists for Inter Milan last season and although expressing his desire to stay with the Nerazzurri he could welcome a move to the Italian champions.
