MAKING THEM AN OFFER THEY CAN'T REFUSE The trouble is that the Clippers front office made it clear that Griffin is off limits (hold on, every GM in the history of sports is laughing), they want to be loyal to the guy that turned around their franchise. Look, the Clippers havent been considered a laughing stock because they werent nice or loyal, but because theyve been really stupid. Like, why does the NBA allow you to exist level stupidity, and if Griffin is really untouchable then the streak is firmly in place. All it would take is a few phone calls to make it clear that the Lakers will be willing to send Howard and whatever else (to make the numbers work) to the Clippers for Blake Griffin and backup point guard Bledsoe. Lets look at the benefits.
