Interestingly, Suarez's agent will also be in attendance, leading to speculation that the controversial player's future could be away from England. The choice of location is obviously a red flag for Liverpool supporters with constant speculation that the Nou Camp could offer an escape route from the Premier League after the World Cup. When asked about any potential move to the Catalan club, Suarez's lawyer Alejandor Balbi told Cadena Copa; €œTomorrow we will talk with Pere Guardiola€. It had been thought the meeting was just a legal arrangement to discuss Suarez and Liverpool's options in regards to his four month biting suspension. However, with the comments from Balbi, and indeed Guardiola's presence at what is meant to be a legal discussion, this could end up a negotiation about Suarez leaving Anfield. With it being in Barcelona, you have to wonder if Barca representatives might even be in attendance. Pere Guardiola is primarily Suarez's agent, but as the brother of Pep Guardiola, he has significant contacts at the Nou Camp club. If the Barcelona meeting does end up being solely legal discussions, you have to wonder if Suarez's lawyer and Liverpool will be on the same page. Suarez's camp is clearly feeling hard done by, with Uruguay appealing the FIFA banning decision. Liverpool in contrast are staying quiet thus far, and risk alienating fans if they side with Suarez on claims of a 'European conspiracy'. Indeed, several Liverpool legends and fans have claimed Suarez's ban should have been longer. If Liverpool do decide to take legal action on the ban, they risk hurting their club image and upsetting their own supporters.
