Daily Star. The Northern Irishman is determined to transform his Kop side into top four contenders and is hoping that signing the Sevilla striker, 20, and the Celta Vigo forward, 25, will help him do just that. Alberto is expected to move from Sevilla in a £5 million deal while Aspas will complete his Anfield move in an £8 million transfer. Aspas has even cancelled his holiday plans in order to ensure the deal goes through smoothly and Anfield sources are hoping an agreement with Celta Vigo can be reached shortly. The Spaniard said:

€œI have cancelled my holiday in the Caribbean. €œWhen I heard of Liverpool€™s interest I did not hesitate. €œAfter all, they are one of the biggest clubs in the world. €œI have decided that my future is in English football.€
Alberto, meanwhile, was loaned out to Barcelona's B team last season and found the back of the net 11 times. He has also played for Spain at U-18, U-19 and U-21 levels. Barcelona had the option to make his stay at the Nou Camp permanent, but he will instead move to the Premier League. The signing of two strikers will provide Rodgers with an added dimension in attack next season, though it does raise questions over the future of Luis Suarez, who has threatened to quit England due to what he perceives as overly-negative press from the media. He will miss the start of next season due to his 10-match ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
