With Luis Suarez moving to Barcelona, Brendan Rodgers has rarely been out of the transfer news sections of most media over the past fortnight. With £75m to spend and the luxury of having Champions League football to attract the biggest names in football, the Northern Irish manager is ready to start making some more moves in the summer window to boost his squad further. It has been reported by the Independent today that Rodgers is pushing for a treble swoop for Marco Reus, Dejan Lovren and Ryan Bertrand. Marco Reus will surely be seen as the perfect replacement to help Sturridge, Loic Remy - once his move is finalised - and former Southampton man Rickie Lambert add to their impressive haul of 101 goals last season. Inevitably though, Liverpool will have a battle to persuade Reus with Bayern Munich also circling around the talented German play-maker. Dejan Lovren could be a Liverpool player once the fee of £20m is agreed with Southampton and then personal terms discussed with the player, bringing a raft of Premier League experience and an imperious defensive record that helped push Southampton up the league last term. The final player in the treble swoop is reported to be Ryan Bertrand, who worked with Rodgers at Chelsea and who has been linked with a link back up with Rodgers for a number of seasons since his future at Chelsea began to look less concrete. What are your expectations of Liverpool next season? Are they serious title contenders or can nobody replace the ability of Luis Suarez?
