Regardless of whether or not Newcastle get relegated, the 2014/15 season has been one of the most horrific seasons The Magpies have endured in recent years. As is stands their record makes for bleak reading: 10 defeats out of the last 11, winless since February, and wedged in between fellow strugglers Sunderland and Hull in 17th place, just one place above the dreaded relegation zone. Inevitably, whatever the outcome of their last weekend of the season, some players will be looking for moves away from the club. It beggars belief how a club with so many international-level players in the squad have found themselves in such a desperate position. Yet under John Carver's management, it appears these players are bereft of all confidence, and if the big guns come calling, heads will turn. Liverpool are capable of raiding clubs of three or four players in one window - just look at last season's invasion of Southampton when snatching Lallana, Lambert and Lovren from the south-coast club. They should do so again this summer, knowing full well that Newcastle will sell for the right price. One thing's for sure, there are a few gems in this current Newcastle squad who need a move away from the club in order to re-kindle their form and these 4 first-team players could provide Liverpool with assistance in the 2015/16 campaign.
