Midfield starlet has no intention of leaving Anfield this window. According to Sky Sports, Liverpool's attacking midfielder Suso has insisted that he is not going on loan to Wigan and he is happy at Anfield. The Spanish starlet had been earlier linked with a move to Roberto Martinez's Wigan side by The Telegraph, as part of their Deadline Day coverage, but he has spoken to Sky Sports to confirm that he will not be leaving. The teenager, who signed a new long-term deal at Anfield in October, after joining from Spanish side Cadiz back in 20120 insists he is not heading to Wigan.
He said: "I'm making clear that I'm not going on loan to Wigan. I'm really happy in Liverpool."
Suso made his senior Liverpool début in September during the Europa League match against Young Boys, completing the full 90 minutes and then made his Premier League début 3 days later against Manchester United in a 21 defeat at Anfield, coming on at hald time to replace the injured Fabio Borini. He then went on to make his first Premier League start on 29 September in a 52 win at Norwich City. He has represented Spain at U17, U18, U19 and U21 level, and started every game during the U19 European Championships 2012, where he won his first international honour.
