Key Stats
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League matches against Norwich, who's last win at Anfield came in 1994. Luis Saurez has seven goals in his last three games against Norwich, including two hat-tricks at Carrow Road. The Reds have won just one of their last four games but have only lost twice at Anfield this calender year. Norwich have only won three away games with Chris Hughton at the helm and they've scored just eight goals in their last 14 away games but Liverpool have only kept one clean-sheet in the last ten games. The Canaries have also only won back-to-back league games once since December 2012.
Liverpool plummeted to fourth in the league after a disastrous loss at Hull City and will be under a lot of pressure to win this game. Norwich, meanwhile, will come into the game confident after their recent victory and won't be expected to get much from the game, they'll be happy with having the underdog title for this one. Further poor results for Liverpool could see them plummet as low as ninth in the table, which will be a huge turnaround as they went into their last game in second position. Three points will be expected in this one and Brendan Rogers will be hoping for a comfortable victory. Norwich City struggle on the road and will be glad that Daniel Sturridge is out. However, Suarez has hit two hat-tricks against Norwich in the past and it could certainly happen again. A frustrating loss for Liverpool should drive them onto victory against the Canaries, who'd be happy with a draw. Prediction 2-0 source - bbc football
