I have already had a look somewhat at his stats from the point of view of his goalscoring record and the variety of goals that he scores. However, I'm afraid that doesn't even sum up why he is such a good player; it's also about the pure volume of chances he gets in each of every game that he plays in. Opposing managers probably think to some extent that they can limit that damage that Suarez can do by limited his chances, but even that seems to be a nearly impossible task. The Liverpool forward takes 5.8 shots per game, which is the highest in the league. In fact, it is only bettered within the top European leagues by Mario Balotelli and Cristiano Ronaldo. As mentioned, Suarez has only played nine times in the league this season, but despite this he has the best average rating of 8.56 his closest challenger to that is Aaron Ramsay with 8.09. The Uruguayan striker has also won an impressive five Man of the Match awards which is again the best in the league. What the information in this slideshow shows in that Suarez is hugely good in a few areas, but he is also a very versatile player.
