Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will launch a bid to sign Manchester City striker Mario Balotteli after his impressive displays at Euro 2012 have guided Italy into Sunday's Euro 2012 final. Caught Offside reports that the Bernabeu boss is desperate to add to his forward line in the summer and could make a move for Balotelli as target Robin Van Persie delays talks on his future. Balotelli has been on top form at the Euro 2012 finals where he is joint top scorer in the tournament but after only starting 14 Premier League games for City last season, being sent off twice and falling out with manager Roberto Mancini several times, Mourinho believes a deal can be made to bring him to Spain. 21-year-old Balotelli has bagged 17 goals in all competitions last season, netting 27 goals in 60 appearances in total, 19 of which were scored when he came off the bench. City signed him from Inter Milan for £24 million two seasons ago and has a long time, but not always happy relationship with Mancini that goes back to their days in Serie A.
