According to the Mirror, Manchester United are set to make a £20 million bid for Malaga youngster Francisco Roman Alarcon, or Isco as he is better known. The 20-year-old has been scouted by Manchester United for a while and whilst no formal interest has been made prior to this, it seems Sir Alex is keen to sign the Spaniard. Isco has been a great player for Malaga but due to their financial situation they have no choice but to listen to offers for his potential sale. Isco cost the club around £4 million a year ago when he joined from La Liga rivals Valencia. Isco played 32 league games last season for Malaga and managed to score 5 goals in the process. United are becoming increasingly interested in the player and despite Lucas Moura seemingly having a medical at Old Trafford, Isco could still be the next player on his way to Manchester. Whilst Isco still has another 4 years on his contract, United could trigger his buyout clause, which could set the club back £20 million.
