Man Utd Transfer News: Wilfried Zaha Shuns Crystal Palace Loan Move

By Diarmuid Hickey /

Out-of-favour Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has reportedly snubbed Crystal Palace in their attempt to bring the youngster back to Selhurst Park on loan until May. Tony Pulis had wanted to bring the player back to London, but he said in an interview to talkSPORT today that this was now unlikely to happen.
We've spoken to David Moyes about Zaha and I don't think he's too keen on him coming back to London
Zaha has started only one competitive game all season; their 4-0 Capital One Cup victory over Norwich. However, Moyes is believed to want to keep Zaha as cover, as Nani is currently out injured, and is also not keen on Zaha heading back to London. However, Pulis did hint that other signings are in the pipeline for the struggling Eagles.
There are irons in other fires and we're working hard to bring other players in.
Palace have been linked with a number of audacious signings, including Demba Ba from Chelsea, but they remain without a new signing as of yet this transfer window. They're expected to wrap up the permanent signing of Jason Puncheon from Southampton in the next few days. The midfielder has been on loan at Selhurst Park, and they'd need to free up that vital second loan deal slot if the Ba deal were to proceed.
