Man Utd Transfers: 10 Strikers That Could Be Louis van Gaal's 'Secret Signing'

By Matt Smith /

10. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 19 league goals for Paris St-Germain last season and picked up his third Ligue 1 title. Commonly misinterpreted as a disruptive influence the Swedish striker simply collects titles and after successfully winning French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish domestic honours it could be that he craves the English crown. Manchester United look to be opting to play 4-3-3 this season and Ibrahimovic would give them a mobile target man that can compete in the air as well as bring the inside forwards into play. Similar to when Sir Alex Ferguson brought Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford and won the title in 2008/9, the 6ft 5 striker can read the game brilliantly and has an eye for an assist as well as for goal. This will mean Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria and Memphis Depay will be able to use Ibrahimovic as a constant outlet and channel their attacks through him.
