The Sun. The Spanish goalkeeper has found himself heavily rotated at Old Trafford this season, and has only started 12 of his sides last 20 Premier League games. Yesterday's 2-0 victory over West Brom was only his second clean sheet of the season, and there have been reports the keeper is homesick and wants to return to Spain. Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho and his number 1 keeper at the Bernabeu Iker Casillas have fallen out recently - and the goalkeeper found himself dropped to the bench for his sides game against Malaga in La Liga for the first time in a decade. Now Mourinho has lined up 22 year old de Gea - who only left Atletico Madrid for £18.9m 18 months ago - as Casillas' replacement. A Real insider reportedly told the Sun:

€œDe Gea is definitely wanted by Mourinho but a lot depends on his own future. €œBut he€™s studied De Gea€™s form closely and is very interested.€
United themselves have found themselves linked with new goalkeepers, with the Daily Mail reporting that Sir Alex Ferguson is set to offer £8million for Stoke's Asmir Begovic. The Bosnian shot stopper has kept nine clean sheets this season and has been one of the more impressive keepers in the league so far.
