BBC website, the player wants to stay at the Nou Camp. Vilanova has been quoted today as saying:

"I know he has received offers from other teams. But Cesc has told me he wants to stay here. He has told me it is his dream to stay with Barcelona."
The former Arsenal captain was tipped for a move away this summer after struggling to nail down a regular starting berth in the starting Barca XI, but Vilanova continued:
"He doesn't want to go to other teams for money reasons or playing time. He knows there is competition for places here, but his decision is to stay. I am relaxed about the situation."
United have yet to receive a formal response to yesterday's surprise opening bid, but it is thought to have fallen some way below the Spanish champion's valuation of the 26-year-old Spain international. Fabregas quit the Premier League two summers ago to rejoin boyhood club Barcelona, where he began his playing career as a youth before joining Arsenal at the age of 16. He would go on to spend eight years in North London, making over 200 appearances for the Gunners and providing 100 assists. He was named captain in 2008 as the successor to William Gallas and was part of the Arsenal team that beat United on penalties in the 2005 FA Cup final - the club's last trophy.
