Manchester United: 10 Strikers Who Can Succeed Where Falcao Failed

10. Javier Hernandez

First off, it would be criminal not to give Hernandez a chance to show his worth. He has never been given an extended run in the side for either Manchester United or Real Madrid, generally preferred as a 'super-sub'. But with the kind of goal scoring record Hernandez has, it's a wonder he's never really been given his chance to shine.

Chicharito, the 'little pea', has always been lightning fast, with an eye for goal, and that is something United have desperately missed this season. They have struggled again to create and finish chances, but Falcao, for the most part, just seemed too slow. He wasn't making runs, and when the ball was played across the box, he was a yard short time and time again. Hernandez has that extra yard, and given a full season with a club as a regular starter, he will easily score 15+ goals.

He's been linked with a move to Tottenham, but United would be wise to keep a hold of him and give him the chance he has earned.

N.B. James Wilson is deserving of an honourable mention, too. He's shown he can get goals for United, but it looks as though he isn't quite the finished product yet, and could do with a season out on loan, where he'll get regular playing time.
