Newcastle United new boy, Florian Thauvin stays behind after training to practise free kicks and doesn't stop until he has taken the perfect delivery, according to the Daily Mirror.
The French midfielder grabbed three assists on his home debut for the Magpies and two came from beautifully taken set-piece deliveries which found the head of Siem de Jong and Mike Williamson.
Newcastle have lacked a free kick taker for a while now and his effective deliveries will be extremely beneficial to Steve McClaren who has already praised Thauvin's ability, stating his crosses are "vital" to the team.
The 22-year-old told the Daily Mirror:
I work very hard every single day to try and achieve the perfect free kick and I dont stop until I have got it right.

McClaren lauded Florian Thauvin as the "perfect signing" for Newcastle United when he signed for the club - and believes having a "genuine winger" at the club will allow the Magpies to thrive.
