Newcastle: "Outstanding" Ferreyra Must Be Good At Picking Up Cones
Beardsley says Argentinian is "brilliant around the training ground".
I have to say hes been excellent for us. He hasnt played many games for us, but hes been outstanding. He was involved in Armas first goal, and I just look at the things he does for the team and his attitude is incredible. One day, hopefully, hell be a top player for us. His attitude is spot on hes brilliant around the training ground and really, I couldnt praise him enough. If he can't be praised enough, why has he not played that much for the U21s? And why hasn't he been considered a possibility for any first team football in the Premier League? Or even the League Cup? There has to be something fundamentally wrong with an outstanding player who simply does not play. Is it injury? Is it disinterest? Surely not the latter is Beardsley - a notorious fan of hard-work - is saying his attitude is spot on. So what is stopping the Argentine from playing? Unless of course all he means by "brilliant around the training ground" is that he's really helpful at collecting the bibs and balls and making sure the cones go away. Because frankly, it's all very baffling if he means anything else.
