Newcastle manager Alan Pardew fears club captain Fabricio Coloccini could be the nest star to quit St James'.

The Sun. Having seen star striker Demba Ba leave for Chelsea this week, Pardew could be set for a double disappointment after reports surfaced defender Coloccini want's a move back to Argentina to join San Lorenzo, as we reported yesterday. Coloccini's father, Osvaldo, is reported to have said:

€œFabricio wants to play for San Lorenzo and he is trying his best to find an elegant way to leave Newcastle. We don€™t know what Newcastle will come up with, but Fabricio is trying to rescind his contract because he wants to be back at San Lorenzo. €œHis contract is very good and that could complicate things in an attempt for him to leave Newcastle.€
The defender only renewed his deal at Newcastle last year, which runs until 2016, and is the club's highest earner, but this hasn't helped dispel reports that the player is unhappy at Newcastle, particularly after seeing his teammates concede 13 goals in just three games. Pardew added:
€œFabricio€™s finding it difficult. €œHe is hurting from the defeats and the goals we€™re conceding.€
Meanwhile, Newcastle yesterday completed the signing of French right-back Mathieu Debuchy from Lille, for an undisclosed fee.
