Moussa Sissoko may have hinted last week that he sees his immediate future at Newcastle United - but the French midfielder has now once again reiterated his desire to play Champions League football away from Tyneside one day. The 25-year-old midfielder revealed he has spoken to France head coach Didier Deschamps, who told him that he must play for a club where he will start regularly during the 2015-16 campaign if he is to maintain his international place ahead of Euro 2016 in his native land. However, Sissoko himself is also pining for Champions League football - and said "one day my hour will come". With 29 caps to his name to date, Sissoko has been an almost ever-present during Deschamps tenure - and the promise that he will be selected if he plays regularly has convinced the midfielder to take stock of his situation, "think it over" with his uncle who is also his agent, and more than likely stay on Tyneside. Speaking to Le Parisien Sissoko, who has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in the past, revealed:
"Didier Deschamps clearly told us that he will only be choosing players who a regularly playing (at their clubs). "With one year to go until the Euros, you cannot change club and find yourself on the bench. "At the same time, I want to play for one of the biggest clubs and I would notably like to play in the Champions League, something I cannot do at Newcastle. "One day or another, my hour will come. In any case, I see myself staying in England."
Sissoko, who is currently at Frances Clairefontaine training base following France's 4-3 loss to Belgium on Sunday and ahead of the match with Albania on Saturday, as spoke to L'Equipe last week. He said:
My future I am thinking it over (right now). The coach, Didier Deschamps, has said that next season will be very important and that I will need game time, to play regularly I have that opportunity at Newcastle. Now, I will try to finish this season well with France, then I will think it over with my uncle who is also my agent (and) we will take the right decisions after the holiday, which I am in need of.
