Newcastle Transfer News: Yohan Cabaye Will Play On Saturday Despite Unrest

Alan Pardew has confirmed that Yohan Cabaye will be expected to play in this Saturday's clash with Fulham, according to the Daily Mail The 27-year-old player has not yet played for Newcastle this season, missing Premier League clashes against Manchester City and West Ham United, and the Capital One Cup win against Morecambe on Wednesday night. This followed interest from Champions League outfit Arsenal, who had a £10 million bid before the season began. Newcastle are understood to want £20 million for their key midfielder,and Pardew is reported to have declined to confirm whether Cabaye refused to play in the opening games of the 2013-14 season following Arsenal's bid. Pardew was quoted as saying;
'What I have said to Yohan Cabaye is I expect him to play this weekend. Until another bid comes in from Arsenal that is accepted or not that will be the situation.
He went on to say;
