Newcastle United have drawn up a three man shortlist for a replacement for Chelsea bound forward Demba Ba, according to The Journal. Ba was omitted from Newcastle's squad to face Everton yesterday, as the club's top scorer made the trip to London to thrash out the terms of his possible move to Stamford Bridge, whilst Magpies' manager Alan Pardew has already stated that the deal for Ba "is done" and that he leaves St James' Park with the club's blessing. Now is the time for Newcastle to move forward and instead of mourning what they have lost, now they must build for the foreseeable future as they look to reverse their dramatic slump toward the relegation zone of the Premier League. News of a cryptic "wishlist" has appeared on The Journal with just one name on it, consigning the other two players Pardew has lined up completely to speculation.
